In 2014 NYC pop band Rexford released it’s debut EP, “Good Lie.”
Matthew Hashimoto, Derek Nelson and Floris Boere’s goal was to “just write good songs.”
With so many bands focusing on defining their sound and image, Rexford’s honest approach to music has paid off. Not only are the songs memorable, they’re refreshingly original, best described as Pop Music with a hint of Soul and sprinkled with Indie.
Much of their sound can be credited to the engineering and production skills of keyboardist, Floris Boere.
With the addition of Eitan Akman, Rexford can often be found headlining NYC venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Spike Hill and Piano’s.

Los Angeles based blues rock band, Them Howling Bones, prides themselves on taking rock back to its roots. Emulating the attitude of some of their influences from the ’70’s, this band makes fearless, in-your-face rock and roll that bleeds emotion. The band’s ability to connect with total strangers through music is no mystery. There’s nothing fake here. No cookie-cutter song structures or vocals hidden in reverb and pitch correction… Just honest tracks performed with the common goal to “move people with great songs.”
